Biography
Georgina Hardy works in the mediums of drawing, painting and sculpture.
Georgina is inspired by the innocence, uninhibited nature, and the soul, of animals, contrasted by the growing trend of anthropomorphism and materialism towards them by the culture of our celebrity driven society.
Georgina has studied at City & Guilds of London Art School, achieved a BA Hons in Fine Art at Northumbria University, and she has trained in the techniques of the ‘Old Masters’ with Charles Cecil Studios in Italy.
Georgina has exhibited work in various group exhibitions including The Biscuit Factory, Newcastle upon Tyne, Guggleton Gallery, Dorset and the Mall Galleries, London.
In recent years she has worked on private commissions and further developed her own practice by adapting fundamental techniques with her contemporary expression.
Georgina lives and works in Dorset and London.
